ACCESSIBLE ANYWHERE, ON-SITE AND ONLINE

The puzzles can be accessed online via a dedicated URL (such as https://yourmuseum.puzeum.com), but also inside the museum on tablets made available to visitors.

In front of an artwork, a QR code can also allow visitors to launch the corresponding puzzle directly on their phone.

Puzeum can therefore enhance the on-site visit and extend the discovery of the collections beyond the museum’s walls and opening hours.

OPTION #1

COLLECTING VISITOR DATA WITH CONSENT

After completing a puzzle, the museum can choose to display a short form to collect information that the visitor agrees to share. For example:

  • The visitor’s email address, in order to:
    • receive their completion time and an image of the finished puzzle
    • stay informed about museum events
    • etc.
  • And, if the visitor wishes, share personal information with the museum, such as:
    • place of origin
    • reason for the visit
    • etc.

OPTION #2

TRACKING PUZZLE ACTIVITY AND VISITOR ENGAGEMENT

The solution can track and present usage data in the form of statistics to help the museum better understand visitor interest and engagement, both online and on-site. For example:

  • Most played artworks
  • Number of puzzles started and completed
  • Difficulty levels selected
  • Comparison of usage by access channel: website, on-site tablets, or QR codes
  • Changes in usage over time

A PROVEN AND ESTABLISHED TECHNOLOGY

Puzeum is built on a proprietary technology, designed and developed in 2020 and now used across three public platforms in French, English, and German: PuzzlesEnLigne.fr, ArtworkPuzzles.com, and KunstPuzzles.de. Its architecture also makes it easy to add new languages. The game has achieved real success, with a growing number of art-loving users from around the world.

The results achieved across these public platforms confirm over time the interest of visitors in an experience combining play and the discovery of art.

The experience gained since 2020 now provides the technical foundation that enables Puzeum to develop a robust technology solution specifically tailored to the needs of museums.

NEXT STEPS

Puzeum is now entering a pilot phase, with the aim of preparing its deployment with its first museum partners.

This phase will help adapt the solution to the specific needs of institutions, define the most relevant uses — both online and on-site — and continue developing features dedicated to mediation and usage analysis.

Museums interested in the project can contact us now to discuss their needs and help shape the first uses of Puzeum.
